While waiting to have coffee with my good friend Larry this morning, I shot a panoramic of the parking lot behind the Princess Anne Building. I’m not particularly fond of super long panos, but I like the effect it has here. This is a combination of about 20 images.

Went out with Lisa last night to have a relaxed meal at Foode. Have I mentioned that I’m kinda sorta having a solo show there starting next Friday? The opening reception is Friday, August 5th from 5-8. I’ll be raffling off a signed print, and Joy (the marvelous chef at Foode) will be whipping up an amuse bouche for folks that stop by. Beth has also told me there’s gonna be a killer deal on some awesome beer. In other words…you should come.
While walking around the other night, Larry and Geoff both mentioned that I seemed to like birds in my photos. It’s true. There’s a tiny speck of a bird in this photo to the left of the steeple. It really doesn’t add anything to the image, unless I make a billboard out of it, but I like knowing it’s there.
I’m going to stop saying that images I post to the blog are my favorite from the project, because it’s getting old. Suffice it to say…I may be hanging a canvas of this in my own house. Thanks for stopping by, and check out the previous post for an announcement about canvas sales and where you can see work from The Other Fredericksburg on display!
Below is one of my absolute favorite images I’ve created from this project. It was taken last night while waiting for my friend Michael just outside of FOODĒ. If you haven’t been to FOODĒ yet, what are you waiting for?! For starters, the food is awesome, and the people are the best around. Not to mention, as of this past week, they are hosting artwork from The Other Fredericksburg! Right now, FOODĒ is the only place you can see work from The Other Fredericksburg printed and displayed. And let me say, my partner lab Pixel2Canvas has done an incredible job of printing my work for display. The pieces are currently printed as 20×30 Archival Art Canvas Prints. The artwork hanging in FOODĒ is for sale, as are any of the pieces you find on this blog. Please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org for information. But before you do that….Go and have an awesome meal at FOODĒ! They’re at 1006 Caroline Street, at the back of the courtyard.
